Receive $25.00 for referring us to your friends. An event must be
booked and will be paid out after the event. Information will be
requested.
Garter Auction:
Opt. 1: Traditional auction style. Anyone can bid.
Opt. 2: Guys and gals are split up and the garter is first auctioned for removal. For each $1.00 the guys bid the garter goes up one inch. For each
$1.00 the gals bid the garter goes down two inches. Once the garter is removed, the auction continues between the guys and gals to see who
gets the garter. You do not have meet the price with each bid like normal auctions, a $1.00 above the last bid becomes yours. The object is to see
if the guys or the gals win this competition.
Opt. 3: Anyone, male or female who wants to bid on the garter may come to the floor. The bidding will begin at $1.00 an will double with each bid
until the final bidder wins the garter.
Garter raffle:
Tickets will be sold by the wedding party to the guests at $1.00 a ticket, you can buy as many as you wish. Later that evening the groom will pull a
ticket out of a hat and the winner will get the garter.
Garter Toss:
The men will be called to the floor by the DJ and a special song selected for the toss will be played. The Groom will stand opposite of the guys
with his back to them and on the count of three, toss the garter over his shoulder to the awaiting men.
The Bouquet Toss:
With the ladies called to the floor by the DJ and a special song selected, the bride will stand opposite of the ladies with her back to them and then
toss the bouquet over her left shoulder to the lucky recipient.
The Bouquet Presentation:
The presentation is a nice way to show a special someone, grandmother, mother, sister, aunt, bridesmaid, etc. how special they mean to them in
their life.
Receiving Line
Guests line up to meet and congratulate the Bride & Groom
Bride and Groom Kissing:
• Traditional clinking of the glasses or table thumping
• Hula Hoop for 30 seconds
• Sing a song with the word love in it (Accapella)
• Sing a Karaoke Song
• Tell a story, sappy, silly, or heartwarming, about the Bride or Groom or both
• Your own special way
The Dollar Dance:
Anyone wishing to dance with the bride and groom can do so by paying $1.00 to either the Maid of Honor (for the Bride) or the Best Man (for the
Groom) to have a dance with them for approximately 30 seconds of dancing. 6 to 8 songs are about the norm for a dollar dance.
Bridesmaids/Bride Dance:
To the tune of I Knew The Bride When She Used To Rock And Roll by Nick Lowe, the Bride is placed in the center of the Bridesmaids and as the
song plays, the Bride points to someone to join her in the center and dance along. The Bride will continue picking bridesmaids until the end of the
song.
Groomsmen/Groom Dance:
To the tune of I’m Too Sexy by Right Said Fred,the Groom is placed in the center of the Groomsmen and as the song plays, the Groom points to
someone to join him in the center and dance along. The Groom will continue picking groomsmen until the end of the song.
Bride and Groom First Dance:
The Bride and Groom dance to a special song they have chosen. It is usually a slow song and a song that means a lot to them. This dance is
done before any other dances begin.
Wedding Party Dance:
After the Bride and Grooms first dance, the wedding party is invited to the floor for a special dance to a song chosen by the Bride and Groom. This
dance is usually the signal to the rest of the guests that the dance it about to begin.
Father and Bride Dance:
A special dance that lets the Father and Bride know what they mean to each other through a typically heartwarming song. The song choice should
be discussed between father and daughter.
Mother and Groom Dance:
A special dance that lets the Mother and Groom know what they mean to each other through a typically heartwarming song. The song choice
should be discussed between mother and son.
*** The Father/Bride and Mother/Groom dance can be combined to save time***
Parents Dance:
A nice way to give tribute to the parents of the Bride and Groom as the parents dance to a special song selected by the Bride and Groom for this
special occasion. It should be considered to do this only if both sets of parents or equivalents are living and able to dance.
Grandparents Dance:
Same as the parents dance. Special consideration should be taken in caution that the couple is healthy and able to do this.
Couples Married The Longest Dance:
This is a very special dance to showcase the couple who has been married the longest and a great incentive to the newlywed couple. All married
couples are invited to the floor. Every married couple, including the Bride and Groom, dances to Can I Have This Dance For The Rest Of My Life by
Anne Murray. As the song plays the DJ will start eliminating couples by saying all those who have been married less than 24 hours, have a seat.
The we go to 5, 10, 15, 20 etc. until the last couple is dancing. We will then meet the couple and ask them what is their secret for a long and happy
marriage.
